Italy

Because I crammed so many cities in my three months stay within Europe, especially within the first 6 weeks it's kind of hard to remember what I exactly did in Italy.

All I know was that I wasn't a big fan of Rome. With locals telling us to hide our cameras, being careful with gypsies trying to scam money out of you along with the transport system being absolutely freaking fail. (Actually, better then Sydney but still fail in comparison to the rest of Europe.) The only good thing that came out of it was the bruschetta. I think I will need a local to take me about and maybe a longer stay preferably not in the peak of tourist season where Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps were swarmed with tourists.

Yet one of my highlights of Italy was Sorrento. I had the great opportunity to hire a car and drive along Amalfi coast, visiting Positano, Salerno and Amalfi. Kinda crazy with one way routes there and back, crazy motor cyclists and huge buses that take up an entire lane. But the views were amazing, breath taking and totally memorable making it totally worth it! I don't think I know anyone who has been to Europe and done this and I highly recommend it because I can't say anything else but for you to go and see yourself.

With amazing food (I had the most awesome lasagna and bolognese in Sorrento) and serene surroundings makes it totally understandable why Mr Clooney is supposedly bound to this area.
